Stayed for two nights. The hosts were most welcoming and helpful. My room was very comfortable, extremely clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast in the lovely bright, sunny dining room both mornings was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
This is a small family run guest house and exactly what we were looking for. Our room was comfortable and clean; our en suite a sparkling example of how it should be done. We really enjoyed our long weekend here. This is a perfect place to stay for exploring the surrounding area or if you have to travel to Torquay on business. The very good breakfast kept us going most of the day. A short walk into town or sea front and there are masses of restaurants and bars to choose from for any other meals.
Great place to stay, rooms very clean, bed was huge (super king size) hotel is on a very busy road, but room was at the back so traffic noise was minimal, we live in the country with hardly any traffic, but we still managed to sleep ok. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, and plenty on your plate. Which set us up for the day. Hosts were very helpful, helped with bags from car to room. We took our little dog with us, and there is a great park opposite for walks. Will definately go there again.
Stayed for three nights mid week in the King Sized bed, Fantastic. Michael & Tina were excellent hosts. The service and accommodation were first class. The location is situated ideally away from the noise of the town but only a five minute walk away with great restaurants close by. The benefit of a secure car park up the hill free of charge is a bonus.
Excellent rooms, very clean and well maintained. Lovely host. Breakfast excellent and well cooked with plenty of variety. Nothing was too much trouble. Just a short walk from the harbour.
Michael & Tina were the friendliest and most helpful hosts you could wish for. Breakfast superb. Room and house spotlessly clean.
From the welcome to departure couldn’t fault it, and Michael & Tina’s hospitality, a nice comfortable room with the most comfortable mattress i’ve slept on, parking in the residents parking next to the council carpark was great bonus considering the proximity to the town centre, breakfast was absolutely spot-on, and this coming from a professional chef!! Will be back again next time i need a break
