This famous all-day excursion is a wonderful way to explore south Devon. you will visit the pretty port of Dartmouth, the quirky market town of Totnes and the seaside resort of Paignton and will travel by steam train, river boat and bus on your trip. the stunning scenery changes from coastal vistas and traditional seaside scenes to the enchanted estuary of the river dart, interspersed with glimpses of the moors. This is a circular tour and each leg of your journey varies in duration from 20 minutes to 90 minutes. you can usually travel in either direction from your chosen start point depending on the tides, so that you can maximise the dwell time in any given town.
